What Is B.I.G.?
B.I.G. Performance Solutions is a new name and facility, but not new to the Industry.
Owner Greg Schmidt has been around racing since the age of 8 building engines and dirt track cars with his father Al. In 2007 Al & Greg founded 'Paradigm Automotive and Performance' in Brainerd, MN. During that time, the change to Drag Racing happened for them. 'Bad Influence Garage' was started to showcase the racing and car building done in house at their shop. Now in 2023 Greg has taken that same performance shop from 'Paradigm' and merged with the 'Bad Influence Garage' racing media (Thusly our B.I.G. moniker) to form B.I.G. Performance Solutions.
What do we do?
B.I.G Performance Solutions is an all around Automotive Performance facility located in Baxter, Minnesota.
We are able to handle nearly all aspects of building or improving your vehicle with our in house operations that include
- Full Fabrication Shop. Tig Welding, Mig Welding, CNC Plasma Table, Sheetmetal Brake, Drill Press, and More.
- Machine Shop and Engine Building. Whether its a freshen for your engine, or a new build, we provide engine building and machining. Our Machine shop is continually being upgraded and we have built anything from 200hp 4 cylinder engines, to 3000+ hp drag engines.
- Chassis Dyno. We have an in house Dynocom 2wd Chassis Dyno that is available for rental, or for us to tune your car.
- Performance Parts Installation & Customization. Taking your car to the next level of fun with Headers, Exhaust, Intake, Camshaft, Custom Built Turbo Systems, Suspension Install and Setup, EFI Conversions, and Classic Car Repairs.
